Fun with Fondant

I swear this isn't turning into a cooking site, but that seems to be all I'm doing lately.
There's been a lot of birthdays the last little while.
Until I can get a paint brush in my hand again, I invite you to pop over to THE BLISSFUL TABLE  to take a look at a couple of cakes I've made recently.
For Mr. Charming’s 50th birthday, I made this
Toronto Maple Leafs Cake (& a miniature Mr. Charming)

For a family friend I made a Chef’s Coat Cake
(and since I was on a roll, a miniature Chef as well)

  1. We are big hockey fans and our youngest son couldn't believe his eyes when he saw it. I decorate cakes for family birthdays but have never tried fondant. Of course now he wants one just like this! Your cake work is incredible.

  4. Your cakes are gorgeous and very creative! I think the chef's coat cake is fabulous! You are a pro at fondant. Our wedding cake was fondant. It is such a pretty look! If I lived closer to you I'd hire you to do a cake for an upcoming event.
