Fun with Fondant

I swear this isn't turning into a cooking site, but that seems to be all I'm doing lately.
There's been a lot of birthdays the last little while.
Until I can get a paint brush in my hand again, I invite you to pop over to THE BLISSFUL TABLE  to take a look at a couple of cakes I've made recently.
For Mr. Charming’s 50th birthday, I made this
Toronto Maple Leafs Cake (& a miniature Mr. Charming)

For a family friend I made a Chef’s Coat Cake
(and since I was on a roll, a miniature Chef as well)

Some Great Idea’s and Some Savings for YOU!

Thanksgiving is this coming weekend and I have some serious cooking and baking to do, so I’ll be a little absent this week, BUT, I do have a couple of great offers to extend to my readers.
simply bags
I was contacted by the good people at simply-bags.  You simply MUST check out these fabulous tote bags, theme bags and stylish laptop bags.  I use a lap top but have never had an attractive case for it. These styles are not only great looking but light and compact too.
Simply-bags offers custom embroidery on their bags making these great for Christmas gifts. In most cases they embroider and ship the same day. Excellent service.
Make sure to check out the College Bags if you have a son or daughter in college, and their Damask bags are gorgeous.
They are offering a discount code to my readers, so if you are interested, please contact me for the code!
Also…
Check out the Overstock site for some great deals on everything from Sunglasses to Bathroom Vanities.
If you are not familiar with Overstock, they are an online retailer offering $3 shipping no matter what you order. Check out the deals on ceiling fans, children’s clothing, diamond rings, and a whole lot more.
Overstock has also offered my readers a discount code.  Please contact me for the code.

All the ideas and opinions expressed are my own. No monetary compensation was received for doing this post, however, I was provided with a discount code.

Thanks and have a great week!
